Objectives of the Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) are to:
Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) sets its goal to make the students competent, innovative and dynamic to face the challenges of competitive globalized world with state- of-art knowledge, expertise and skills in diversified areas. Furthermore, it aims to prepare the students to work as effective as leaders and decision makers in various cultural settings by the collaboration with sustainable and winning organizations.
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) established this Private University in 2018 as per permission accorded by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission
of Bangladesh. The university got the permission from the University Grants Commission in 2022 to launch its academic activities. Accordingly, KKBAU started its academic activities by admitting students in different Departments and commenced the classes in January 2023.

Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) — A Pioneer of Education & Humanity
Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R.) was a renowned educationist, social reformer, and Islamic scholar of the Indian subcontinent. He served as a Deputy Director of Education under the British Government and dedicated his life to spreading modern and moral education in Bengal.
In 1958, he founded the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) to serve humanity beyond religion, caste, and creed. His mission focused on education, social welfare, and human development. He believed that “service to humanity is service to God.”
Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) was established by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) in 2018 to carry forward this noble vision and commitment to human development.
KKBAU carries forward his dream — a university where knowledge, ethics, and social responsibility go hand in hand. Through KKBAU, his vision of a just and educated society continues to shine.
