Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences at Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU).

The Faculty of Social Sciences began its journey alongside the establishment of KKBAU in 2018. Guided by a vision to transform intellectual and social values, the Faculty is committed to fostering critical and independent thinking through the study of arts, humanities, and applied social sciences.

At present, the Faculty is home to the Department of Information Science and Library Management (ISLM), offering the undergraduate programme BSS (Hons.) in Information Science and Library Management. Through modern learning environments, laboratories, and interactive academic activities, students are prepared for diverse professional pathways in an increasingly information-driven world.

The Faculty promotes a vibrant academic culture where students and faculty engage in meaningful dialogue, research, and collaborative learning. This environment encourages creativity, intellectual curiosity, and the development of essential analytical and communication skills.
