Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU)

Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) has come into being under the Private University Act-2010 with the approval of UGC and the Ministry of Education, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The university was founded by Kazi Rafiqul Alam, the president of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), a visionary educationist, philanthropist, and social worker. His inspiration for establishing this institution was to serve the people of the southwestern region of Bangladesh by providing access to quality higher education. Through this program, Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University’s vision is “fostering national development by establishing an excellent higher education institution responsive to society’s needs, actively contributing to knowledge, and being able to develop capable leaders to face the challenges of the twenty-first century.”

On behalf of the administration of Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU), I, the Registrar, would like to take this opportunity to welcome you warmly, a higher educational organ of the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM). It gives me immense pleasure to offer a message of goodwill, prosperity, and welcome to all those students who have selected KKBAU as their seat of learning.

Our motto is to develop the university as an institute of academic excellence and a center of socioeconomic development. Our highly qualified faculty members, skilled officers and Support staff are constantly striving to render quality services to the students and all the stakeholders of KKBAU, keeping the university’s vision and mission upheld.
